Stabilization - FINALLY!!!

Today is my first day of Stabilization....which I am so looking forward to.  Here is an excerpt regarding stabilization, from the book Pounds to Inches:

"Concluding a Course

When the three days of dieting after the last oral dose are over, the patients are told that they may now eat anything they please, except sugar and starch provided they faithfully observe one simple rule. This rule is that they must have their own portable bathroom-scale always at hand, particularly while traveling. They must without fail weight themselves every morning as they get out of bed, having first emptied their bladder. If they are in the habit of having breakfast in bed, they must weigh before breakfast.

It takes about 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable, i.e. does not show violent fluctuations after occasional excess. During this period patients must realize that the so-called carbohydrates, that is sugar, rice, bread, potatoes, pastries etc, are by far the most dangerous. If no carbohydrates whatsoever are eaten, fats can be indulged in somewhat more liberally and even small quantities of alcohol, such as a glass of wine with meals, does no harm, but as soon as fats and starch are combined things are very liable to get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise disappointments are almost sure to occur."

So, NO CARBS, SUGAR, STARCHES, for the next 21 days!!

Today I weighed in at 112.8!!!!!!! My lowest weight ever.  Just 2.8 lbs shy of my final goal of 110 lbs.  If you remember, my original goal (when I first started the program), was 125 lbs.  So, needless to say, I am a very happy woman right now.  I have bought size 2 pants. In high school, I think the smallest I ever was, was a 5, maybe a 3.  I am actually smaller now, then I was in High School!!!!!!!! How many people are able to say that :)  OHHHH....also, first time ever in my life that my hips are smaller than my chest!!!!!!!!!!! my hips are 34" and my chest is 35".

Remember this diet works IF you follow it to a "T"!! I am living proof :). Most people lose 1 to 2 lbs a day. The more you have to lose the faster it comes off. This round I only needed to lose 10 lbs, so I am averaging a 1/2 lb a day, but that is fine with me. I was not able to get any new pictures this weekend, so I will try for this up coming weekend and post them. I can't wait to start working out again. I want to tone and firm my thighs, abs, and butt.

Finished Week 4 (2nd round of drops)

Saturday was the end of week four. I weighed in at 114.2 lbs!! I have surpassed my goal of 115 and so far I have lost 13.6 pounds this round.  The two rounds combined I have lost a total of 30 lbs. I have 4 pounds to go to reach 110 lbs!! It looks like I will be finishing up this round this weekend and on to stabilization.
